This animated gif file is created in CS4-Photoshop using the Animation Timeline.
Layer opacity and style is animated over 10 seconds.
The file was then exported from Photoshop as a Quicktime video.
Animation:
Window > Animation
1) Click the stopwatch beside the property to insert an initial keyframe.
2) Move the CTI ( Current Time Indicator) to a new time in the timeline and adjust the property settings.
A new keyframe is automatically created at that place in time.
NOTE: You will need at least two keyframes to create an animation.
When you are finished designing your animation, Save for Web
1) Choose GIF
NOTE: Press the play button to play your animation.
2) Save as HTML & images
Photoshop now renders out the animation and the HTML and gif files.
